Olivia | Auburn Senior + Family Portraits Botanic & Arboretum

Olivia is an Auburn High School senior who I had the joy of photographing this October, and her session was such a beautiful mix of personal style and seasonal charm. She started her senior portrait experience with professional hair and makeup by Natalie Killmaster before meeting me at Botanic, where we began with a few sweet family portraits with her mom, dad, and younger brother.

Once we transitioned into photos of just Olivia, her session really started to come to life. She brought several outfits that were perfectly “her” - denims, dark lace textures, and cozy fall pieces that photographed beautifully in the greenhouse and garden scenes.

We also lucked out with the timing of Botanic’s fall pumpkin display, which paired perfectly with her black lace dress and gave her senior portraits an extra festive, Halloween-season feel.

From there, we headed to the Donald E. Davis Arboretum for more nature-focused senior photos, something Olivia specifically requested. The colorful flower gardens, wooden walkways, and the iconic little red bridge gave us endless options for soft, whimsical, nature-inspired portraits. One of my favorite moments was photographing Olivia in her chunky sweater surrounded by sweet yellow flowers, including one tucked behind her ear. This Auburn senior session was full of authenticity, beauty, and fall magic - a perfect reflection of this season of life!
