Maggie | Opelika Botanic/Lake Senior Portraits

Maggie’s senior portrait session was a dreamy summer afternoon filled with sunshine, soft colors, and lots of sweet little surprises like bunnies, turtles, ducks, and geese! Maggie is a Class of 2026 senior at Opelika High School, and her session was the perfect mix of soft, fun, and adventurous! Keep reading for more!

We started at Botanic in Opelika, where Maggie reflected her sweet and sunny personality with a bright yellow top that paired perfectly with the blooming flowers and greenhouse glow! I’m also going to shoutout Tori Mejia at Artistry Beauty Bar here because she helped get Maggie ready with professional hair and makeup for these photos. As someone with naturally curly hair, and knowing Maggie is also a curly girl, I can confidently tell you that Tori gave Maggie such a beautiful and natural look for these photos that really let her personality shine through that much more.

Maggie also brought some outfits with pops of pink that went along amazingly well with the colorful blooms at botanic, and a cool spot we found with soft twinkly lights!

From there, we wandered around nearby lakes and boardwalks where Maggie wore a more neutral earth toned outfit with denim shorts and a casual, summery vibe. I loved how the color palette of her clothes worked in harmony with the wood tones! Then at our final stop, Maggie brought along her wakeboard! It was such a fun way to highlight a hobby she loves, and made her gallery feel even more personal and true to her.
