Emma | Auburn Class of 2026 Senior Portraits
I’m so excited to share Emma’s senior portrait session today! This was actually the first senior session of the summer, and a great start to the Class of 2026 senior season! We were able to include a little bit of everything in this shoot - keep reading for more!
As the drum major for the Auburn High School marching band, it only made sense to start with her uniform. With the football field under construction this summer, the studio gave us a clean, dramatic space to capture those marching band inspired portraits. Against a simple backdrop, the details of Emma’s blue sequin cape and shiny mace really made an impact!
From there, we headed to Midtown for a completely different vibe: bright, fresh, and full of beach-town-inspired charm. Emma’s white skirt and floral corset top gave the portraits a light and cheerful energy that perfectly contrasted the earlier formal shots!
Our last stop was Kiesel Park in Auburn! We arrived at the perfect time for the afternoon light to spread golden rays over the grassy fields and flowers! Emma wore a white and yellow flower-print dress that seemed to blend right in with the blooming yellow flowers around her. These portraits had such a soft, sun-kissed quality, and it was one of my favorite parts of the day.
For her final outfit, Emma changed into something casual, a white top and jeans, which gave her the freedom to explore and even climb a tree! The flower garden setting added a vibrant backdrop to the playful energy of those last few shots :)
Emma’s session was especially meaningful to me because she’s the fourth Stackhouse sibling I’ve had the privilege of photographing! Being invited back into the same family’s milestone moments year after year is one of the greatest honors of this job, and Emma’s turn in front of my lens was every bit as special as I imagined it would be. It will be a few more years before Stackhouse sibling #5 graduates, so I’m hanging on tight to the memories from this year!
