Davis | Lee Scott to Auburn University Senior Portraits

So excited to share this special Lee Scott senior portrait session today! Davis is a multi-sport athlete, a golfer, a devoted Auburn fan, and a soon-to-be Auburn University student! We were able to celebrate all of those passions throughout his senior portrait session in Auburn, which included meaningful locations, special props, and even some family involvement, which made the entire experience personal to him.

We kicked things off at Moore’s Mill Country Club on the golf course. This is a place Davis feels right at home, so we captured both posed portraits and action shots of him mid-swing, surrounded by views that are already part of many memories. I quickly learned some previously unknown golf etiquette, such as keeping really quiet when you’re next to a hole where someone is getting ready to swing. Might have accidentally broken that rule a couple times! I was so impressed that Davis really had a great handle on golf course culture and interacted with fellow golfers of all ages like a total pro.

From there, we headed to Auburn University’s campus for senior photos around Samford Lawn, a perfect backdrop for a future Auburn Tiger, and also a special nod to a family member whose office window is visible in the background of a few of these photos! We also took advantage of a nearby parking deck that gave us amazing views of Jordan-Hare Stadium and Plainsman Park, two sports venues that mean a lot to Davis. And to top it off, we included his Bronco in a few shots because fun vehicles always add a personal touch (and they always look cool in photos!).

Next, we traveled to his home turf at Lee Scott Academy to capture the school side of his senior year. Davis wore both his letterman jacket and football jersey at different spots, and we got great photos of him both solo and with his younger siblings in their Lee Scott gear! One of the most meaningful moments was when he brought out his Bible for photos at the cross to honor his involvement in FCA and the significance his faith plays in his life.

To wrap up the night, we stepped into the gym, where Davis was able to pull together an awesome idea - setting up the official’s table with a custom Davis original Lee Scott graphic. He’s been learning AV equipment and design from one of his teachers, so incorporating that interest felt like the perfect finishing touch.

Honestly, we could’ve added even more to this photoshoot. This family puts so much thought into their photo memories and documenting every chapter well, but that just means we’ll have plenty to look forward to for a Part 2 session we’re already aiming for in spring! Stay tuned!
