Meacham Lifestyle Newborn + Family Photos

The Meacham family recently welcomed their sweet son Collin into the world, and I had the joy of joining them in their home to capture his first weeks of life on the outside. Avalon and Grant are already such proud and loving parents, and the connection between the three of them filled every moment of their in-home newborn session with warmth. Lifestyle newborn photography is all about documenting those authentic, love-filled moments, and this Auburn, Alabama family session was the perfect example of that.

We began in Collin’s nursery, a cozy blue sailboat-themed room that reflected so much thought and care. The soft natural light streaming through the windows made the perfect setting for newborn and family portraits, capturing tender snuggles and quiet in-between moments. Of course, no Meacham family session would be complete without Hank, the golden retriever who proudly claimed his role as “big brother.” He popped into several photos and brought such joy to the session!

To finish, we added a few classic solo newborn portraits using some of my studio props. Collin looked absolutely precious in a knit romper and bonnet set, wrapped in soft fabrics and sleeping soundly as I captured those tiny newborn details. These images were the sweetest way to round out the session, blending the intimate, relaxed feel of in-home lifestyle photography with timeless newborn portraits.
