Charlie Senior Portraits and Martin Family Session

As a photographer, every session brings its own set of challenges and joys, and recently, I had the pleasure of documenting a combined family/senior session at the beautiful Kiesel Park.

Combining this session to be a senior portrait session and a family session proved to be an excellent choice, especially for senior guys like Charlie, who might not relish being in the spotlight for a solo photoshoot. Described by his mom as having the purest soul, Charlie's easygoing nature and laid-back attitude made him a joy to work with.

Adding an extra layer of uniqueness to the shoot was the inclusion of Maverick and Sally, who gave us a little run for our money. Anyone who has worked with pets knows that they often have a mind of their own, and Maverick and Sally were no exception. However, with a bit of patience and a lot of laughter, we managed to capture some heartwarming shots that showcased the genuine connection between the family and their furry companions.

One other particularly special element brought to the session was Charlie's grandfather's shotgun. This heirloom added a touch of heritage and family history to the photographs, making them even more meaningful.

I really enjoyed being the Martin’s photographer for this celebration of family, milestones, and the unique elements that make Charlie and his family so special.
