Miss Alabama 2025 Candidates & Program Highlights!
The Miss Alabama pageant just wrapped up, and I’m still beaming with pride for the incredible women I had the honor of photographing this year! Preparing headshots for several of the 2025 candidates was such a privilege, and watching their hard work come to life on the big stage, even from afar, was an absolute joy.
The first to step in front of my camera this season was Jess Westmoreland, representing Miss Southeast Alabama, followed by Mikella Anderson (Miss Auburn University) and Hannah Adams (Miss Phenix City). I had also previously worked with Chloe Yates (Miss Birmingham) and Mary Coker Green (Miss Shelby County), and it was so exciting to see their headshots featured again in this year’s program!
Each of these women brought something uniquely beautiful to the competition. Mikella and Mary Coker both debuted brand-new talent performances this year: Mikella traded her classical pointe routine for a vibrant acro jazz piece, and Mary Coker switched from her signature fiddle act to a stunning vocal performance. I may not have been in the audience, but the videos gave me chills!
While the full list of scholarship recipients is extensive, I was thrilled to learn that Hannah and Mary Coker were finalists for the Community Service Award, and Jess was a finalist for the STEM scholarship. And on finals night, both Hannah and Chloe earned spots in the Top 13!
The biggest highlight? Hannah Adams took home a Preliminary Evening Gown Award and was named 1st Runner-Up to Miss Alabama! What an incredible and well-deserved honor.
Congratulations to all the candidates, and especially to Emma Terry, our new Miss Alabama! Wishing her all the best as she prepares to represent Alabama on the national stage at Miss America.
