Luke | West Point Senior Portraits

I was so excited when Luke’s mom contacted me for his senior portraits! Having photographed their oldest son’s senior photos and a family session, I already knew that Luke was a really cool guy with a huge passion for rodeo. I always really enjoy working with people who just know what they love and go after big goals, and it’s a fun bonus to include pieces of those things in their photos too.

We started the session close to home with Luke’s dog and one of the horses! You could really tell Luke was right at home here and I always love the chance to include animals with their people! All the details from the boots to the button shirt and hats were perfect.

We couldn’t stay casual for the whole session though! I love when guys bring a nice jacket to their session for a more formal look, and in Luke’s case, we thought it would be fine to still keep the jeans and boots :) Our locations for this look took us downtown to the post office building, where we also found the most perfect peak fall yellow tree!

Our final stop took us to a rustic train bridge that crosses the Chattahoochee River. I learned that this bridge is over 100 years old! It made for a great setting for a more relaxed casual outfit with a couple great hats, and even a nod to the Vols :) It was a great place to end our session: right about sunset, by a bridge…perfect metaphors for one chapter closing with a new adventure ahead for this soon to be high school graduate!

Now Booking Spring and Summer Senior Sessions for Class of 2026 and 2027! Let’s plan something amazing together!
