Children’s Studio Mini Session

A minimalistic session in the studio is always a great idea for children! This sweet session with little Holly was full of love and joy. Holly got to have her photo taken with pink and purple backgrounds to match her sweet outfits! One of the things I love about studio sessions is the ability to pick different background colors to suit a child’s personality or even match their room decor. Having a solid backdrop also makes the subject of the photo (your child) really stand out. There’s no distraction of beautiful scenery or busy backgrounds. When doing sessions with children, it’s also helpful to have a controlled environment, somewhere that’s not too hot or cold, and no outside elements or other distractions.

Studio mini sessions are always a quick and easy option, and you still have time for 1-3 outfits. I love when a client bring props to our studio sessions that are meaningful to them. This can be anything from a child’s toy to their favorite blanket. Everything is worth documenting! Want even more flexibility and variety of themes and props? A custom session may be a better fit for you in that case! Let’s talk about what would be a perfect for you and your children’s portraits!
