Prom Photos with a Purpose!

Prom is a once-in-a-lifetime event that students look forward to all year. As a photographer, I wanted to provide an opportunity for students to capture their special night in a fun and unique way, and support a local non-profit in the process. That's why I hosted a drop-in prom photo event at my studio, The Beehive!

The April 22nd event was open to all local high school students who could drop in anytime during the afternoon to have their photo taken. The cost to participate? Just a new children’s size swimsuit and towel to donate to The BigHouse summer swim and towel drive!!

We created a variety of backdrops to give students a range of options for their photos that matched their prom attire and style/personality. From elegant and classic to fun and funky, we had something for everyone.

The energy in the studio was so upbeat and positive. Students arrived in their finest attire, ready to strike a pose and capture their memories. I loved seeing their excitement, and the drop-in event was a great success. It was a fun and easy way for students to capture their special night and make memories that will last a lifetime. I'm looking forward to hosting similar events in the future to benefit other worthy causes in our area!!

Our BigBox of BigHouse donations from the event, and my assistant-for-the-day, Madison!!
