Hannah and I met for her senior portraits back in July, on a nice partly cloudy Auburn Alabama day with a low chance of afternoon showers...and it was a perfect day for photos! Until it started POURING right before we started the second half of Hannah's session! So I had the treat of meeting with Hannah not once, but twice for this fun senior portrait session. Hannah's mom and one of her friends named Lauren (#bestnameever) came with her to be part of the experience, so if you see some really great smiles or laughs in these photos, they probably deserve the most credit for those ;)
For the first half of the session, we started with hair and makeup with Abbie Clayton. I hear more and more from seniors that they don't want their photos to look like anyone else's, so I love that she chose to go with a cute side braid look. Sophisticated but not overly formal - just like Hannah!
We then headed over to Downtown Opelika for our photo session. There are so many great buildings downtown, like First Baptist Church Opelika. I love the contrast between the white walls and Hannah's dark hair and dress!
Downtown Opelika also has a ton of cute storefronts and walls, which made for a great background for our favorite outfit...are you as in love with that jacket as I am? And the shoes!!!
Soccer has also been a huge part of Hannah's life so we couldn't neglect paying tribute to that in her senior pictures.
After that is when we ran into rain! So we took a minute to set a new date, arranged for hair and makeup and met again a couple days later. This time, makeup was done by Lindy White - owner of Tanology! For the second part of the session we went for more of a nature look with really feminine outfits and settings.
I don't know what it is about these photos below, but Hannah channeled her inner Jennifer Lawrence or something, because there is definitely a resemblance there!
And finally, Hannah's senior film. Check out this video for a look into Hannah's photo session! I really loved getting to meet Hannah, her mom, and Lauren. I'm excited to have her as a member of the Class of 2019 Senior Rep Team, and have already enjoyed having her be a part of our bonus rep photo shoots. Keep an eye out for more sessions coming to the blog in the next few weeks!
